Surf Life Saving Central Coast (SLSCC) is now calling for the paid position of casual Surf Education Instructors to facilitate our school beach programs. Our programs are designed to increase surf safety within the community.
SLSCC requires casual Surf Education Instructors for the period from October 2019 to December 2020 with a possibility of further extension to March 2020.
Essential Criteria: 1. Applications will need to include a one page resume outlining qualifications, skills and
experiences within and outside of Surf Life Saving. 2. Knowledge and ability to work with children 3. A list of current Lifesaving awards. At a minimum a proficient Bronze Medallion/Cert
II in public safety. 4. Demonstrated ability to carry out safety procedures and use appropriate safety
equipment. 5. Two (2) referees should be included. 6. A paid working with children check number is required in accordance with Child
Protection Legislation.
